The paper examines how the British Army has conducted logistic support during the last few decades and the pressures on it to change that have come about since the end of the Cold War. It also looks at the nature of future conflict and how industry could be used to aleviate some of those pressures (primarily financial) by supplying logistics support much closer to the frontline than has been the case.en_UK
